Ash Ravens:
Ash Ravens is an award winning guitarist, singer-songwriter and recording artist currently residing in Ottawa, Canada. The aspiring musician moved to Canada’s capital in 2021. Though he’s new to the Canadian music scene specifically, he’s been making music for nearly a decade now — all across the world. From his hometown in Bangladesh, where he was born and raised, all the way to some of the most iconic venues on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip and the streets of Melbourne, Australia, Ravens has come a long way in the short span of his music career, including playing the RBC Bluesfest 2023 opening for Mumford and Sons. He has been nominated as “NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR” at the Capital Music Awards 2022 and his music has been featured on Rogers TV Ottawa. Blending rock, singer-songwriter, country and instrumental fusion and blurring the dividing line between genres, every Ash Ravens concert is a treat for any music lover.
Nick James Beaton:
Nick James Beaton is an Ottawa based guitarist, singer/songwriter, and producer. He has been honing his craft through live performance and studio productions since the age of 13. Over the last three decades, he has toured both nationally and internationally. As a member of Ottawa based rock pop group Autumns Cannon he amassed many personal accomplishments, some of which include national radio play aswell as festival tours supporting artists such as Big Wreck, 54-40, Serena Ryder, April Wine, ZZ Top and most notably opening for Bon Jovi at the Air Canada Centre in 2017. His influences are steeped in blues, rock, folk, and americana. While Nick thrives in the collaborative and collective band environment, he has always had the desire to write and produce his own material with true and boundless expression.
In 2020, after experiencing several life altering changes, the timing aligned for him to finally put pen to paper and find his voice as both a singer and songwriter. Nick spent the past few years in the studio recording a first body of original work that he released in the spring of 2024, including Movin' On, an edgy rock anthem about the sorrows of loss and brokenness, all the while finding strength and courage in starting anew.
